Yesterday Curtis dug the kids a tunnel through the snow bank about 10 feet long. It goes in one side of the bank and out the other. Even though it was really cold out (-28 C with a wind) Curtis was really warm. Chloe was the first to come in after about 10 minutes. Russell lasted about 45 minutes of helping. It took Curtis 2 1/2 hours. Today they went in the tunnel with Ranger and it was warmer in there than out.

Sounds like Curtis was having more fun outside with the tunnel than the kids - he's still a BIG kid! We've had that cold snap too - just about unbearable! -38 degrees here on Sunday morning! Needless to say we haven't been outside at all except to keep changing the bunnies water a couple times throughout the day!
