Here are some fall pictures of our beloved Chloe. There are not a lot of leaves on the ground yet or yellow trees for that matter. None the less the pictures are still cute. Russell wanted in on the action as well. Today I will take them to a beautiful park on the Wapiti River and see what shots we can get there.
Chloe was not outside quite as much as Russell. She loves to help in the house. Here she is grating cheese for the taco salad and mopping the floor. She is a great dish washer and can handle the hot water. Chloe likes to do anything to please Briana and make her happy. The chocolate cake defiantly did it! There was so much black dust from the canola. Just climbing down the combine, she was covered. She was very good at keeping the windows clean for me in the combine. All I had to worry about were the outside windows. She is fun to have around and chat with in the combine when going up and down the swathes can get boring.
Every fall I take Russell and Chloe's pictures in a wheat field. It was very windy that day and Chloe did not get her picture taken because her hair blows around. So before you comment that I forgot her, keep watching, they will come!! This is a typical farmer, checking the grain.
Buster was enjoying the scratch and warm sunshine. This is something I always have pictured, our son having fun in a field with the dogs. I think boys and dogs just go together. Russell had fun just running through the wheat and was out there for about and hour playing. This is the closest Ranger could be to Buster other wise Buster would growl for fear that Ranger would be getting more attention that him. Briana was in her glory sitting between the kids because she got double the cake!! Oops, one piece fell on the way to Briana's mouth. Grandpa and Uncle Steven's right hand helper. They taught him to run the auger mover so they do not have to get out of the truck when getting ready to unload the trailer. So where ever the super-B's were, so was Russell.
Two Jamaican girls from church came out to the farm to see harvest. They had no idea about anything. It was so funny, Nathoia kept sending pictures to her friend in Jamaica to try to explain what she was seeing. They had a wonderful time full of FIRSTS!! These pictures are for their family back home.
Today we had a beautiful Sabbath. There was no wind and the temp. was around 30 degrees. After a light supper of popcorn, chips, peas from the garden and cinnamon pull a parts, the kids wanted Grandma and Grandpa to come outside and play. Grandma knew that she had to change her clothes because there was sand, grass and water outside to play with and Sabbath clothes would not work. Grandpa on the other hand, as you can see, went outside in his church clothes. These grand kids are extremely blessed to have Grandparents that play with them and love them to bits! In a few months from now we will not have nice grass and warm weather to enjoy. So this was the time to make some memories. Chloe took off some where. Russell was just saying he was getting squished by the girls! Now squishing Grandpa is a different story and much more fun.
