Summer Activities of the Whitmore Children

 We were puppy sitting my parents doggy for about a week. Her name is Maggie. Russell and Chloe really love her.

 Chloe loves Ranger lots. When we go away, she misses him so much.

 Ranger going for a swim in a dugout near our house. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Curtis pumped up the dingy and we went out for a paddle.

 One hot afternoon we went to the Simmonette River east of Grande Prairie. The kids had a great time playing in the water.

 They were happily touching each other. That doesn't happen often.

They made several trips hauling water. I had a chance to relax and read. We have loved the weather this summer. So nice to be outside in the sun. So glad I don't have an office job. I couldn't do it.

Two Great Families

 Over the last week I've had the privilege to photograph two different families. Here is a sampling of their pictures. There are so may to choose from. I'm thankful I live in an area with beauty out my door. I had fun with these families.

Chloe's 8th Birthday Party

 Curtis and I did her cake together. He has stronger hand than I do. It was very yummy.

 We have a very sporty daughter. She loves to be active. Chloe received a soccer net and all the accessories to go with it for her birthday. Our thinking in this was she can play ball hockey in the winter with it.

 It was a good investment. Curtis and I go out and play with the kids too.

My Sweet Chloe Jane

 This morning we had the opportunity to get our picture taken from our neighbor. It was fun just Chloe and I. Here are a few. I'll have to get Russell sometime, when he comes back home that it.

 I can't remember what we were talking about. She has such a beautiful smile and crazy laugh.

 Chloe loves to hug when ever she gets the chance.

The day started out cool and quickly became warmer. We were not dressed for warm weather. We have the best daughter in the world. She has a sparkling, bubbly, witty, and caring personality. She takes after the other women in her family like mother, grandmothers, and great grandmothers. She is so fun to have around an big help.
