Here are some long awaited family pictures. It's been over a year since we have had family pictures taken. The kids have both had growth spurts and matured. I have also lost 50 lb. and don't look the same. We met our sister in law in Grande Prairie and she took the photos for us. The weather was beautiful and warm.
Curtis and I will be celebrating our 11 year anniversary July 6. Wow how time flies. I have the best husband and am so blessed to be married to him.
Love marigolds.
Our number one son who just turned 9.
My 2 favoite men.
Look at those legs!
Chloe and her father have a special bond. They are like 2 peas in a pod. The two of them crack my up!
Just hanging out on the bench!
So now Curtis is off the hook for pictures for another year. Good thing Russell and Chloe let me take their pictures during the year.

My Beloved Parents
The afternoon turned out to be beautiful. They wanted their pictures taken in the area of where they call home. Love the red sheds in the background.
I am proud to say they have been married for 36 years.
I think dad was watching Russell or looking at the trees that had dead branches in them.
They both remember when peddle bikes were like this.
True farming fashion.
Grain bins do make a nice background. I guess you have to be raised around bins to see the beauty in them.

Russell Turns 9
Nine years ago today at 7:02 am, Russell Walker Whitmore was born. He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz and 19 1/2" long. We have loved watching him grow and develop.
It's time to update the pictures on the wall so we had a photo shoot while in town today.
So casual. Love this pose.
Love these photos as well.
He said he was tired and sat like this.
Chloe did a good job of taking this picture considering I had on the big heavy lens.
Russell did a good job at this one.
And he's DONE!

Luke the Horse
This pair of geese were visiting our yard the other day, nibbling on some green grass. Ranger was in the house so they were relaxed.
The kids and I were invited over to our neighbor's house on Friday to watch her have a dressage lesson with her horse Luke. The snow was falling but the temperature was not cold and there was no wind.
I didn't realize there was so much rhythm involved in this sport. I learned a lot.
Luke is showing off with his head tucked in.
Now they are doing figure 8 patters. The sun came out and the rest of the afternoon was pleasant.
Luke is a sensory horse and like to feel things with his mouth. That's why his head was turned. Luke liked the feel of my jacket in his mouth. Such a gently 4 year old boy.
Chloe and Russell were able to ride Luke while he was cooling off.
Can you tell she is in her element and happy?
Russell was excited too. He just shows it in a different way.
