Chloe Jane

My little Chloe Jane is not so little anymore. She is growing up fast. These are not her birthday pictures. It had been a rainy week and we were needing some creativity. She has a beautiful smile, is thoughtful, caring, funny, creative, active, and talkative! Life is exciting in our house. We are blessed to call her our daughter.

Love This Time of Year

The view from the living room. It's so nice Russell is the full time mower. While he mows, Chloe and I get the garden done, than all go play!
Here are the flower I woke up to yesterday morning. The heat is good for them.

I thought I was planting a different kind of day lily but it turned out to be an iris. It loves the spot and looks nice next to the yellow blooms.
Beets on the far left, onions and Italian parsley in the middle, peas on the right.
Russell and Chloe love pansies and geraniums. This pot seems to love where it is. It's so pretty.
This is the sight I'm greeted with when I drive into the garage. Can't wait to see what it looks like in another month.
Russell and Chloe put the garden hose on their slide to make a water slide. I enjoy listening to them laugh and scream with excitement.

Sabbath at Dunvegan Park with Friends

Today at church, Chloe's friend from school, yes virtual home school, met us at Fairview Church and we spent the day together. It was nice and hot so after lunch and playing in the park it was time to head for the water.

Russell was learning how to skip rocks.
The kids taking a dunk in the cool water.
Found a nice rock to skip.
 Girls getting all dirty.

Russell Turns The Big Double Digits

Ten years ago today, June 4 at 7:02 am, our son was born. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years already. I'm enjoying his independence, knowledge, and personality. It's fun to be part of his growth. He is so happy to be in the double digits for age. There is no going back now!
