Babies Are Growing

My friend Holly is a spectacular woman. They were excited about being pregnant. Then they received another surprise it's twins. Ryan and Holly have their work cut out for them!
We were together the other afternoon and took some quick photos. There will be another photo shoot with her hubby and when her tummy is bigger. I know she feels big already. I'm glad it's her and not me.

I've known Holly for several years. Curtis use to work with her husband at John Deere. We soon hit it off and realized we had lots in common, mainly being stay at home women and cooking and baking. She has helped me several times with the kids when I need to shop for their Christmas presents, go to an appointment or need an extra hand. She is fun to hang out with and makes the Indian tacos. We are all excited in this family for the birth of the babies.

Almost 8!

Purple is one of Chloe's favorite colors and it looks really good on her. We went to the local golf course for this first set of pictures. It was really hot out, 29 degrees C and 33 with the humidity, and hard to find some shade.

We came home, took a little break, ate some cherries and headed to Sexsmith for ice cream before pictures.

Chloe lights up a room with her smile and personality. She is a fun loving, compassionate, caring, funny girl. It's hard to believe she will be 8. Where has the time gone? This week Russell is at the farm so we have done fun girl things. She loves the one on one attention. We are very blessed to have a daughter like Chloe.

Fun in the Sun

With the weather being absolutely beautiful this week, I have planned fun things for the kids. The garden and yard work is all caught up, too hot for baking so off we go to play.
Russell loves this toy, as you can imagine.
Chloe waiting for the water to come at the spray park in Sexsmith.
He is happy to get his sister.
 Chloe is returning the gesture.

The water was a little cool.
Yesterday Russell hooked up the water for the trampoline. My flower get received moisture as well.
 Chloe is a performer.

I like the expression on Russell's face.
She is proud of the flips she can do.

Not sure what this move is called.
I wish summer lasted for about 8 months. We love just playing in the yard and staying home. We made vanilla ice cream in the Vitamix to cool off. Those are the things the kids are going to remember, not the clean floors. So as long as it's nice outside, the house will stay dirty inside, but we will all be happy.
