Here are our 2 beautiful kids. I took them to a park in Grande Prairie to see what we could find.
I love the pictures in the leaves.
Russell and Chloe were having a hard time giving nice smiles. They were ready to go home. The ones I did get were worth it.
Russell and Chloe do love each other.
Here is the family that I am blessed to have a be part of. My friend was able to capture some of our finer moments!
I love these pictures of Russell and his Dad!
Can't forget the dog!
We look not too bad for 9 years of marriage.
My darling daughter.
This is a field across the road from our house. The colors outside are incredible. Thanks Cassy for taking time to capture some great shots. You did a good job at convincing Curtis of a nice smile! I do want to do this again when there is a little bit of snow on the ground.

Russell and His Grandpa
This evening I went to take some pictures of Russell and his Grandpa. It was a bit too dark outside but we were able to capture some great shots.
Russell is telling Grandpa he is ready to race.
Walking and telling stories like boys do.
Russell defiantly looks up to his Grandpa.
These to boys look like they could easily fit back into the 1930's or 40's. Sepia editing suits them!!
This time of year is almost my favorite time. I love all the colors and the temperature. We have been blessed with great weather this last week. Russell and Grandpa have a very special bond. I's sure it will continue. These are special times.

Fall Fun
We knew the frost was coming was we picked lots of flowers. Here is the sunflower that Russell wanted in his room. It is HUGE!! He came upstairs with it to get a picture and change it's water so it will last longer.
Today we went on a quad ride after church. There may not be many more nice days left. The neighbors came with us and showed us some new trail in the woods. The colors and the smells out in nature were fantastic. I love this time or year.

Around the House and Beyond
Chloe is my kitchen helper and loves to be in proper uniform for what ever she is doing. I was starting to make cinnamon rolls. I tied her apron and then she told me just a minute. She came back with Russell's boxers on her head for a chef's hat. She is so cute and is a big help. Here she is stirring the sauce.
Some of the gladiolas from the garden.
Yesterday we were able to meet up with Wes and Lana in Wetaskiwin to see the new baby. He was born on September 4. His name is Carter John and is absolutely adorable. Uncle Curtis is smitten with him.
Carter is off to la la land in his uncle's arms.
Curtis has been waiting for a VERY LONG time to get another quad. He finally found a great deal. So on Sunday we went to Westerose, AB to pick it up. Curtis went for a spin at 10:30 pm when we got home. He could not wait any longer.
The kids are also very happy to have another quad. Now we can all go together as a family instead of me staying home. Russell can drive the other one quite well so we went on a little ride this afternoon. Chloe and I on this one and Russell following on the other one. He was so proud to be able to follow by himself. I now have great leverage with them getting their school work done. If school is not done or there is complaining while you are doing it, there are no quads.
This quad rides like a dream. I know when Curtis is around he will be the one driving it. The other one has more than enough power for me and takes me where I need to go.
