Our Yard this Morning

Winter has returned to the Peace Country. The last 3 weeks have been so warm and nice, but we knew it could not last forever. The end of last week it turned cold. The beauty of the trees is worth it for awhile as long as this beauty is not is April!! We have had a moose hang around here and he sleeps in these trees. I have not seen him for two days so I hope he is gone. This is near my garden and where the kids play outside.

Russell and Chloe Singing, AGAIN

Russell and Chloe decided that they wanted to sing again in church. Their SS teacher had been working on a song with them for a little while.

House Painting

I painted the wall by the garden doors and the wall with all the windows in our livingroom a brick red color. It looks good with the green but I was ready for a change. So I decided to paint the rest of the house a mushroom color. This is a huge undertaking since I have the kids at home and we have 10 foot ceilings. I love the looks of the end result so it makes me keep going. The one picture in the livingroom is the new color.

Spa Day and Girl Fun

With Russell gone, Chloe has a chance to do more girly things. He is not here to bug her to play tractors or trains. I gave her a pedicure and painted her nails. I did not have the color she really wanted (orange or yellow) so she settled for pink. She is so not a pink girl!!

Russell the Trucker

These pictures were taken last Thursday when Russell went to spend the day with Grandpa. Last night I took Russell to the highway to meet Grandpa in the big truck. They are hauling a load of canola to Carstairs and bringing back fertilizer. Russell was so exctied to go. He will be gone for a few days, back on Tuesday. He knows how to start the truck and what all the buttons are for. Soon he will be the one driving while Grandpa sleeps.

Another chance to sing

Russell and Chloe sang another medley for church. They ask to sing almost every Sabbath. It was extra special because Grandma and Grandpa Whitmore were here to see it.

Christmas in January

Grandma and Grandpa Whitmore were her last weekend to have a little Christmas with the kids. Russell and Chloe were very excited. Russell thought it was October again and he was just getting presents early and December was close.

Russell received Cranky the Crane and Jack for his Thomas set and Chloe opened a doll house complete with furniture, very cute.
